My name is Irene, designer and metalsmith artist of Bella Desiderata Jewelry (meaning “beautiful desires”). I’ve been doing jewelry for approximately 11 years and metalworking for about 2 years. I like to be different. My style is a bit more on the edgy and raw side. My techniques include hand forging, bezel layers, hollow forms, recycling scrap metal, caging gemstones and objects, and chain linking. Designing and fabricating jewelry is one of my favorite creative outlets, it’s the one I’m most passionate about. I hope to inspire you with my edgy creativity, and mysterious and unique hand-fabricated jewelry designs.
