Arts on the Millrace, a showcase of the best in regional art, will be held Saturday, September 10, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The day-long area arts celebration is located along Goshen’s Millrace Canal beginning at Powerhouse Park, and features live music, food vendors, and children’s activities.

Artists interested in consideration for entry in the juried exhibition must submit an online application along with a designated fee: $50 for individuals and $100 for groups. There is no charge for teen artists to apply.

“Fine art is never more fun than at Arts on the Millrace,” Director of Events Adrienne Nesbitt said. “It’s a curated event where the community can connect with – and shop – master artists, but in a casual, family-friendly, outdoor setting. And there’s food, too – what’s not to love?”

Fine artists from every medium are invited to apply. Applications are evaluated by the Arts on the Millrace Committee, a group composed of artists and local leaders, with four awards possible for participants: Best in Show, People’s Choice, Jake Loewen Craftsmanship, and Best Tent Aesthetic.

While applying does not guarantee entry to Arts on the Millrace, there is no additional charge for booth space for artists who are accepted.

The deadline for applications is July 31.
