The Michiana Pottery Tour is coming soon – Saturday and Sunday, September 24 & 25, 2022!

Trevor Daugherty is hosting a stop this year at his studio in Goshen. Check out what he has to say about the artists he’s hosting and why he’s looking forward to the tour!

“This year, I’ll be hosting three new Michiana Pottery Tour artists with varying local ties. Isaac Shue of Harper, Kansas, is a Goshen College graduate and has family here locally. Steve Skinner is from New Carlisle, and Anthony Romero will be coming out from Philadelphia.”

“The Michiana Pottery Tour is an opportunity for the local community to not only support our ceramic artists but also to provide a significant chance to educate the general public about the robust ceramic scene we have here locally. Elkhart County, in particular, is home to many nationally- and internationally-recognized artists who help support – and are supported by – the local economy. It’s one of our big opportunities each year to remind our neighbors of our importance to the local art scene and how much we appreciate customers that support us throughout the year.”

“The Michiana Pottery Tour provides me with a chance to connect with local and regional buyers. This helps grow and sustain my business. Selfishly, it’s a wonderful weekend to hang out with other ceramic artists and geek out about what we’re working on. I always walk away from the weekend thankful for the opportunity to connect with old friends, our community, and a broader audience.”
